Florence (Aunt Flo) Scotti, 94, of Pawtucket passed away peacefully at home on August 9th, 2022. Florence was a fun-loving woman and devout-Catholic with a generous loving heart.
Florence lived a long colorful life and touched the hearts of many. Florence enjoyed having her hair done every Friday and going to lunch and shopping. She loved having company come over to play Rummy or Phase 10 and even hosted many Saturday game nights playing Cards against humanity with extended family. Florence would often play the funniest card and forget to take credit for it. She even inspired an “Aunt Flo” pile when the game was played in her absence.
Florence loved taking car rides to get out of the house and see the world. Her favorite adventure was to Foxwoods Bingo with “the crew”. Florence got the biggest kick out of the Achmed navigation voice on Waze, particularly when he would call the driver an idiot for going the wrong way. She would giggle hysterically and it was infectious.
Florence will be missed tremendously. Her burial was private and a Memorial Mass was held at St. Joseph’s in Scituate on August 20th.
